In Love Again....

With Lancome's Rouge in Love lipstick collection that is - take a look at my review this week in missomnimedia.com

I am considering purchasing another color (NUDE) and this is a great way for me to tip toe back into Lancome again...we'll see. I'm mature enough to know that this excitement is the lust stage.

I am hoping it become a full on LOVE affair after the second month!

  1. Hi Lexi, I LOVED this entry! I had no idea MAC came out in the 90's... I'm pretty sure I'm too young to appreciate. I was a late bloomer when it came to makeup. My first high end product ever was Lancome though! Violet Coquette looks amazing on you; you have just the right skin tone to pull it off. After seeing your photo, I think violet lips are a nice statement piece for spring, if one can pull it off :)

  2. Hey Dovey,
You are too kind! I love to reminisce, I can't help it. Makeup and fragrance seems to bring back certain memories. I often would shy away from these colors because I never thought that I could pull off a color this cool with my warm skin tone. Since dying my hair dark, I've been craving violets, fuchsias and other deep/bright shades for Spring/Summer.

    1. hi Lexi--- Oh, I think you are really right about your hair color; I think the gorgeous dark brown really works so well with fuschias and violets! My hair pretty much stays the same all the time, so I don't experience too much 'color change'!

    2. Yeah, I don't think I'll be doing the J-Lo caramel blonde highlights for a while. I'm loving my hair dark again...for now haha

I definitely would have stayed away from this color if my hair was still light.
