Here in SF we have reached temperatures in the 40's and rain - it is not fun and yes, I am thankful it wasn't snow. Either way, we are freezing are asses off! I didn't retreat to dark colors or ignore bronzer - I brought Summer to me, well Indian Summer since Summers in SF can be foggy.
On my eyes I used MAC Sumptuous Olive on top of Indianwood Paint Pot for a golden olive eye. Using a combination of two NARS bronzers warm up my complexion - Irresistiblement as a blush and Casino to contour. On my lips is MAC Chestnut Lip Pencil, NARS Hot Vodoo, copper frost and top with NARS Sweet Revenge Lipgloss, a sheer pink grapefruit.
Also, I started adding a drop of NARS Illuminator in Copacabana with my Laura Mercier Oil-Free Foundation Primer. This gives me a better glow versus adding a drop of the same Illuminator liquid to my foundation.
This golden bronze look helps keep me warm, well my infinity scary and wool pea coat does most of the hard work!
simply lovely :)

ReplyDeleteI do love our Indian summers here. At least we have the sun today, great look too!
ReplyDeleteThanks and yes, Sept-Oct are awesome months here in SF!! I'm planning to do your fun little questionaire thingy this weekend - just didn't want you to to think I ignored it. Thanks again for the tag - flattered, truly!!
DeleteLovely look! I really like the combo of Sumptuous Olive and Indianwood :)
ReplyDeleteHope the cold weather doesn't last too long! We are lucky here in Miami right now - it's in the 70s. A few weeks ago we had some 40 degree weather. I'm a wimp though - I don't like anything under 50 degrees! :)
Hello Ms. Magpie!
DeleteThanks for your kind words and yes, this is my favorite way to wear Sumptuous Olive. Ha, funny you mentioned that - my mother-in-law always packs her winter coat when she visits us here in the Bay Area - she lives just outside of Orlando!
