Scents for Summer - Contributing Post for Miss - 6/5

This week on MISS, I share ways on how I channel a summer heatwave while living in a fog bank in the Bay Area, CA. I do this with luxury fragrances no less!

This is my first real attempt on writing about fragrance so please be kind!

For more please read here.

Next week, MISS will share my favorite budget scent finds.

  1. Love the sound of phylosykos. Fig + coconut? I'm not sure what that would smell like but I'd like to find out! I'm happy to see your fragrance review and would love to see more on the blog as well! It seems like now that it's summer I'm more interested in scents than color :)

    1. Awe thank you, Dovey. Ever since I have discovered a fragrance group on FB, I have been reading more fragrance based blogs and I have an ever growing collection of fragrance samples and decants. I am planning to write more on scents - it's just me building the courage because I'm still a novice writing about it.

  2. I think you did a great job. I find perfume blogging to be impressive, describing a scent is NOT EASY. Even shopping for a perfume is not easy for me. I hope to read more perfume blogs from you. Goodluck.

  3. Thanks for your kind words, Tere. Yes, it's daunting writing about fragrance as I still have struggle writing about cocktail flavors! Maybe this will be build up my confidence to write about more fragrances.
