However, sleeping in is also one of her favorite past times. Herein lies the challenge, how does she get put together when she only has 20mns to jump into her car to jam to the train station? Well she showers the night before and like some women, gets ready on the train.
Today I caught her only using 3 products:
Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer in Desert.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Shadow pencil in Morphine.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye pencil in Zero.
This took her about 20mns (about the time it takes to get to Downtown SF from where we live, Daly City)
(Isn't she cute? I'd say she's a NC40-42 for reference) |
UD Morphine shadow pencil - a very lovely light bluish purple, almost pale lavender. I may have to go back to get it at Sephora. I knew I should have picked that one up instead of the Sin (champagne) pencil. And yes, her eyebrows are that naturally dark - I'm still jealous about that!
She loves a smudgy lined eye just like her big sister! I also provided shots of her lovely nail color - OPI Parlez-Vous OPI?
Unfortunately, she didn't complete with black mascara because I was talking way too much to her - something I just can't help.
Personally, I can't get ready on the train. I need to be still and I like the quiet and private time to put on a full face of makeup. It doesn't really bother me to watch women put their makeup on the train like my sister, if anything I am fascinated. I try not to stare but I like to see what brand women use and how they apply - do they use their fingers or full sized brushes? You shouldn't watch but you just can't help it - I guess it's the voyeur in each and every one of us.
Do you engage in public primping? Does it bother you if the woman sitting in front of you is applying mascara?
Yep, I sure do love to sleep in! Good pic-taking, thanks Uh-Lex! We have to ride together more often.
ReplyDeleteI made sure I posted the best ones. Where's my L'oreal review?
ReplyDeleteI've never been a public primper, except when putting on lipstick/gloss. I think this is something that stems from some old rule my mom made up (a child from a old-timey era) which means you leave the house with your face already made up. Also, I look absolutely awful without under eye concealer, zit cover up, a layer of foundation powder, and my sad excuse for eyebrows(non-existent) penciled in.
ReplyDeleteMy sister on the other hand, always puts her makeup on in the car. I'm always fascinated by ladies who can do this. It takes some skills! I have a bad tendency of staring at people who put their make up on in public. Not because I hate it, but because I'm intrigued by other's techniques.
Oh good - I'm in great company! I'm not trying to be rude, I just want to see what lipstick you are using hahahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... the only thing I can use in public is lipbalm or lipgloss LOL. I don't like to primp in public 0=
ReplyDeleteHi Gaby,
