Shoe of the Day

I guess this would be flat of the day. So you judging from yesterday's 4 1/2 shoe of the day, you probably assume that I own many flats. I do have a fair amount but because of my foot challenges most of those flats are useless. I have lots of super cute pointy toe flats that I can't wear anymore. The challenge is finding cute round toe lovlies that make walking joyful. Enter the rose toe T-Strap I found the last time I was in NYC.

I found these at Topshop. We don't have a Topshop in SF unfortunately so you can imagine the girlish joy I felt being in this store. That quickly faded once I stepped inside and felt the life sucked out of me. The music was loud, the other ladies shopping looked much younger than me and I felt like a bull in a China shop - just big and clumsy! My poor husband - he has the patience that I just can't fathom. He told me he took one look at their Men's department, turned around and walked out of the store. I later found out that he went to the nearby Timberland store bought a shirt for dinner and a T-shirt for walking around in and called it a day. I, on the other hand had some exploring to do. I saved the shoe department for last and it's on the top floor. Their sizing is odd because I'm either an 8 1/2 or a 9 and these shoes are an 8. Oh those Brits! I remember trying on a size 9 in another pair of flats and they were too small whereas an 8 1/2 felt too big. I had an Goldilocks moment when I found these shoes..."AH just right!" How comfortable are these shoes? I walked from the Guggenheim back to our rented apartment in Chelsea - that's pretty good for a sh*t load of NYC walking!!

Said shoes purchased for $50/Topshop - faux leather. I am currently saving up for a round toe Tory Burch flat because I think they are adorable and Repetto, I'm coming for you next!
